Since 1994 many assignments with governmental and international organizations have resulted in significant profits and cost saving interdisciplinary automation and technology contracting solutions, as well as improved and assured dependability of their facilities.
Some customer comments on, and some results of our consultancy services are presented below.
One customer, an international chemical company, was satisfied with the complete Request For Proposal (RFP) package and our procurement and technical support for a distributed process control system project, and stated:
’’In our opinion the project and procurement specifications prepared by TEBA resulted in considerable cost savings. Furthermore, due to these specifications, the project was implemented without any problem.’’
Another example of cost saving solutions is an easy to implement, general applicable, predictive distillation quality control scheme that resulted in a considerable (up to 19%) saving of the energy costs. This control scheme became a worldwide standard of one of the large oil companies.
For several customers the management, structure, and technical and commercial content of their proposals and contracts was improved. One of our customers estimated the profit increase as a result from these improvements between 5-10% of their turnover.
The CEO of NDDO Oncology (formerly the New Drug Development Institute of the European Organization for the Research and Treatment of Cancer), who was advised on the development of a clinical data capture tool to be used for European wide studies with experimental anticancer agents, stated:
